Gigac Technology has launched a series of CWDM dual-fiber flexible-band output digital optical transceiver modules, supporting rates from 155Mbps to 10Gbps. They offer high performance and wide adaptability to meet diverse communication needs.
This series utilizes EML lasers and supports CWDM wavelengths from 1470nm to 1610nm. Paired with PIN-TIA receivers, they ensure efficient signal transmission. A wide range of interface options, including LC duplex connectors and customizable pigtails (FC/UPC or LC/UPC), adapt to diverse connection scenarios. Powered by a single-channel +3.3V power supply, they operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. Their all-metal housing provides excellent EMI protection and complies with SFF-8472 Rev 10.2 and RoHS standards, ensuring exceptional reliability.
In terms of performance parameters, it supports data rates from 9.953 to 11.3 Gbps (typically 10.3125 Gbps), with a transmitter differential data input swing of 180 to 700 mVPP, a differential input impedance of 80 to 120 ohms, a side mode suppression ratio ≥ 30 dB, an extinction ratio ≥ 8.2 dB, and an average transmitted optical power of -1 to 5 dBm. The receiver differential output swing is 400 to 850 mVPP, with a differential output impedance of 80 to 120 ohms, a receive sensitivity ≤ -16 dBm, and an overload optical power ≥ 0.5 dBm, ensuring stable signal reception.
This product is widely used in scenarios such as 10GBASE-ZR/10G Ethernet, 10G Fibre Channel, SONET OC-192/SDH STM-64, providing a flexible and reliable solution for high-speed, long-haul optical communications, fully meeting the diverse bandwidth and transmission distance requirements of modern communication networks.
