Description

Gigac Technology's 12-pin dual-fiber LC Mini-SFF optical transceiver module (also known as an ultra-small optical transceiver, USOT) features an ultra-compact LC pluggable interface design and supports multi-rate adaptive transmission from 100Mbps to 10Gbps. This module innovatively integrates surface mount technology with a CML logic level interface, ensuring high-speed signal integrity from a single +3.3V power supply. Its all-metal armored housing and shock-resistant structure withstand extreme ambient temperatures from -55°C to 100°C (super-military grade), maintaining excellent stability under harsh conditions such as vibration and wide temperature ranges. Its groundbreaking miniaturized packaging reduces the size of traditional optical modules by 40%, making it ideal for high-density integration scenarios. Available in industrial-grade (-45°C to 85°C), military-grade (-55°C to 85°C), and super-military-grade versions, it meets the high-reliability military communication requirements of digital radar phased array systems and electronic countermeasures equipment. It also provides multi-rate, long-distance point-to-point optical transmission solutions for civilian applications such as 5G fronthaul and industrial interconnection, making it an ideal choice for building high-speed data links in complex electromagnetic environments.


Compared to other optical module products, Xinrui Technology's USOT optical module is approximately 40% smaller in size while extending its temperature range and vibration resistance, making it more suitable for military and extreme environment applications. Furthermore, its multi-rate compatibility (such as support for non-standard rates like 3.125Gbps) offers advantages in radar and dedicated communication systems.

Using an ultra-compact micro-USOT package, the module is only 8mm tall, significantly smaller than traditional optical modules and suitable for high-density integration scenarios.

The dual-fiber LC pluggable interface design supports flexible data connection configuration and facilitates dynamic deployment.

The all-metal housing, combined with a vibration-resistant design, enhances electromagnetic interference resistance and adapts to harsh environments (such as airborne, shipborne, and high-altitude environments).


Supported Speeds:

Covering 155Mbps to 10Gbps, and compatible with multi-rate adaptive transmission (such as 2.5G/4.25G/6.25G/10G), meeting the needs of diverse scenarios.


Transmission Distance:

Multimode fiber (50/125μm): Maximum transmission distance 2km;

Single-mode fiber (9/125μm): Up to 160km (adjustable from 0 to 160km)


Power and Signal Interface:

Powered by a single +3.3V power supply, it offers low power consumption.

Signal input/output utilizes CML logic levels, meeting high-speed signal integrity requirements.


Environmental Adaptability


Operating Temperature Range:

Industrial grade (-45°C to 85°C), military grade (-55°C to 85°C), and super military grade (-55°C to 100°C), meeting extreme environmental stability requirements.

Passing military-grade screening and testing, it exhibits resistance to moisture, heat, and shock.


Functional Expansion|:

Select models support receive signal detection (SD) and transmit enable control (TDIS), enabling power-saving modes for improved energy efficiency.

Optional digital diagnostics (DDM) facilitates real-time monitoring of optical module status.
