Description

Gigac Technology's 100G QSFP28 ZR4 80km 4-wavelength LAN-WDM optical module provides customers with 100 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options and transmission distances of up to 80km over single-mode fiber (SMF). The DTACQQ7-HHLZC* is a 100Gb/s optical transceiver suitable for optical communication applications, compliant with QSFP28MSA, 100GBASE-ZR4, and CAUI-4 specifications. To provide an aggregate signal rate of 103.1Gbps, the transceiver operates with four parallel data streams of 25.78Gbps. The LWDM channels, with center wavelengths of 1295.56, 1300.05, 1304.58, and 1309.14nm, are multiplexed onto the single-mode fiber as members of the LWDM wavelength grid. At the receiver, the four channels of the optical data stream are demultiplexed and retimed by the transceiver. Typical applications are Internet Service Provider (ISP) fiber-to-the-home aggregation and backbone networks, mobile operator core networks and mobile backhaul, and data center site interconnection.

ESD


The ESD fault threshold on the electrical input pins of this transceiver meets Class 1. ESD testing is performed in accordance with MIL-STD-883, Method 3015.4/JESD22-A114-A (HBM). Normal anti-static precautions must be observed when handling this module. This transceiver is packaged in anti-static protective packaging. It should be removed from the packaging and handled in an anti-static environment.


Laser Safety


This is a Class 1 laser product in accordance with IEC 60825-1:1993:+A1:1997+A2:2001. This product complies with 21 CFR 10100.10 and 10100.11 except for deviations pursuant to Laser Notice No. 50, dated July 26, 2001.


Reliability Specifications


The module is designed to meet the Class A electromagnetic emission requirements of Sections 3.2.1.1 and 3.2.1.3 of GR-1089-CORE. It is also designed to meet the fire protection requirements of Section 4.2.3 of GR-63. It complies with Directive 2015/863/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. It meets GR-468 standards for overall reliability. At an operating ambient temperature of 70°C, the FIT is <3500 with a confidence level of 60%. At the end of the device's useful life, please dispose of it properly according to electronic waste recycling procedures and recycle materials from the old device for use in new products.
