Gigac Technology's 40G PSM4 QSFP+ optical modules (DTACQ44/DTACQ45 series) utilize a hot-swappable QSFP+ form factor, support 4 x 10.3Gbps independent full-duplex channels, and are compatible with the QSFP MSA and CML electrical interface standards.
These products offer two transmission modes:
The eSR4 version (850nm wavelength, MPO interface) supports 300m transmission over OM3 multimode fiber with power consumption ≤1.5W;
The LR4 version (1310nm wavelength, MPO interface) supports 10km long-distance transmission over single-mode fiber with power consumption ≤3.5W.
The entire series integrates digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) functionality, supports a single +3.3V power supply, and is available in wide operating temperature ranges of 0-70°C (commercial grade) and -40-85°C (industrial grade). High-density MTP/MPO connectors enable rapid deployment. Designed specifically for 40G Ethernet architectures in data centers, these modules are suitable for TOR switch interconnects, server cluster expansion, and metropolitan area network requirements. Long-distance network transmission scenarios meet the needs of high reliability and low latency networks.
