Description

Gigac Technology's polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber connectors maintain the polarization state of optical signals while ensuring stable and reliable signal transmission. They effectively reduce the effects of external factors on the polarization state of light, even under complex environmental conditions such as high and low temperature fluctuations and stress. They typically feature high extinction ratios, high pitch accuracy, low insertion loss, and a low deflection angle, enabling high-precision optical signal transmission. They also exhibit excellent repeatability and stability, adapting to a variety of operating environments. PM fiber connectors are primarily used in applications requiring stringent polarization requirements for optical signals. In fiber-optic communication systems, they can connect lasers to devices such as modulators and wavelength division multiplexers, ensuring the stability of high-speed, high-capacity optical signal transmission and mitigating the impact of polarization mode dispersion on system performance. In fiber-optic sensing applications such as fiber gyros, fiber hydrophones, and interferometric fiber sensors, they maintain the polarization state of light, improving sensor accuracy and sensitivity and enabling high-precision measurement of physical quantities.
