Gigac Technology has launched a high-performance single/dual-fiber bidirectional optical transceiver module in a 1x9-pin package, supporting a variety of optical interfaces (SC, FC, and ST) to meet diverse application requirements. Powered by a single +3.3V power supply, the module utilizes CML signal input and output levels, and LVTTL signal output levels for SD signal detection. It features extremely low electromagnetic interference (EMI) and excellent ESD protection, utilizing a fully domestically produced solution for exceptional reliability.
The module is available in two grades: military industrial grade (J, -40°C to +85°C) and military extended industrial grade (M, -55°C to +85°C). It supports 3.125Gbps transmission speeds over distances of 10km to 80km, and is compatible with single-mode fiber. It is widely used in Ethernet Fiber Channel and other optical link scenarios, complying with the Class I laser safety standard IEC-60825 and ROHS 2.0. In terms of electrical performance, the transmitter's differential data input amplitude is 200-2000mVpp, with a differential input impedance of 90-110ohms. The receiver's differential output amplitude is 300-1200mVpp, with a differential output impedance of 90-110ohms. Optically, it offers a side mode suppression ratio (SMSR) ≥30dB, an extinction ratio ≥8.2dB, and a maximum receiver sensitivity of -25dBm, ensuring efficient and stable signal transmission. With a maximum power consumption of 1.2W, the module balances performance and energy efficiency, providing a flexible and reliable solution for various optical network deployments.
