The 56G QSFP+SR4 optical module is a high-performance module used for short-range multi-channel data communication and interconnection applications. It integrates four data channels in each direction with a bandwidth of 56Gbps. When using OM3 fiber, the operating speed of each channel can reach 14.0625Gbps, up to 100 meters, and when using OM4 fiber, it can reach 150 meters.

This module adopts a multimode fiber optic system and VCSEL technology, using a standard wavelength of 850nm. The electrical interface adopts a 38 contact edge type connector, and the optical interface uses a 12 fiber MTP (MPO) connector.

2、 The advantages and application scenarios of 56G QSFP+SR4 optical modules

The 56G QSFP+SR4 optical module has a wide range of applications in data centers, enterprise networks, and communication fields. It can be used in various scenarios such as high-speed connections between servers and interconnections within data centers, providing efficient and reliable fiber optic transmission solutions for various applications.

Due to its miniaturization design and high transmission rate, the 56G QSFP+SR4 optical module can deploy a large number of ports in limited space, thereby improving the overall capacity of the network. Compared to the traditional combination of multiple low-speed modules, using 56G QSFP+SR4 optical modules can significantly reduce the power consumption of the entire network and lower energy costs.
