3.General

Gigac 1x9 155Mbps series Transceiver is designed for use in OC-3/STM-1 T It provides the SC/FC/ST optical port that is compatible with the industry standard connector. Both the transmitter and the receiver are packaged together with a top plastic cover and bottom shield. The transceiver operates with 3.3V/5.0V power supply.

The transmitter section incorporates FP/DFB laser and driver IC with temperature compensation and automatic power control circuit. The receiver section incorporates an efficient GaAs PIN photodiode and APD and trans impedance with AGC for wide dynamic range. This transceiver has excellent immunity and reliability.
