3.General

Gigac 1x9 1.25Gbps series Transceiver is a high performance, cost effective module for optical data communication applications. It is compliant with IEEE802.3Z Gigabit Ethernet Specification (1000Base-SX). This module is designed for Single-mode and Multi-Mode fiber operates at the wavelength of an 850nm VCSEL/1310nm FP/1550nm DFB laser.

The transmitter section incorporates VCSEL/FP/DFB laser and driver IC with temperature compensation and automatic power control circuit. The receiver section incorporates an efficient GaAs PIN photodiode and trans impedance with AGC for wide dynamic range. This transceiver has excellent immunity and reliability.
